michael meth (my forever friend) called today to alert me to the CT website. i had no idea that it existed. when i opened it up a flood of memories came rushing at me...and through me. CT, DAF, the stage, green room, cabins, that old truck, michiana shores, the beach, endless fun, music, laughter, and wonderful, wonderful friends. those were magical days; certainly some of the best days of my life. thinking back makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time.

over the phone, michael and i were just reminiscing about how CT has defined our lives. it's incredible to think about what Nora and that place gave to each of us. i don't think it's a stretch to say that we have always been her children and as such, we are her legacy. so, it is fitting that "the children" should gather. count me in!

i noticed on the website that everyone wanted to know what became of each of us. well, i ended up in new york city after deciding not to go to law school (smart boy). that was 20 years ago. luckily, i found my niche...in broadcast journalism working primarily in documentary and long-form storytelling at cbs news, nbc news and now, abc news as a producer on 20/20. i'm married with three gorgeous children. kevin is 9 and destined to one day replace derek jeter; mikey is 12 and my angel-boy (he's so sweet it hurts); and molly is 23, a graduate student in social work at u of mich with definite plans to save the planet. me, i'm still a kid. i still remember those nights in bed at the end of each CT summer, sad that it was over, totally unaware that over 30 years later those memories would be as vivid as yesterday.

see you all in august. let me know if i can help.
